Galt & Taggart offers two primary types of brokerage accounts: the G&T Trader online investing platform and the Execution Brokerage account.
We offer two account options to cater to your investment preferences. If you prefer to invest on international markets yourself through a platform, the G&T Trader account is the recommended option. However, if you prefer to have a broker execute trades for you, the Execution Brokerage account is more suitable. It is important to note that leveraged products such as CFDs, futures, Forex, and options* are exclusively available on G&T Trader, while Execution Brokerage account offers better access to international, regional, and local bonds and structured products. You may choose to open both accounts free of charge for greater flexibility in your investment strategy.
* Please note that CFDs and options are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. According to international statistics published by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), 74-89% of retail clients’ accounts lose their full amount as a result of trading CFDs and options. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs and options work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. “
