Galt & Taggart Receives Euromoney’s New Award
Galt & Taggart has been awarded a new honor by the international publication Euromoney. The publication named Galt & Taggart the Best Securities Firm in Georgia. Notably, Galt & Taggart is the first company in Georgia to receive this award.
According to Euromoney, Galt & Taggart demonstrated outstanding performance in product innovation and the development of capital markets.
“In partnership with the National Bank of Georgia, Galt & Taggart introduced an innovative multi-currency bond program, allowing issuers to place bonds in GEL, USD, and EUR under a single prospectus within one year. Due to its flexibility, the program attracted significant interest. Galt & Taggart has maintained a dominant position in Georgia’s capital market — from May 2023 to May 2024, the company participated in bond issuances totaling USD 254 million, capturing 53% of the market. Galt & Taggart was also the first firm in Georgia to manage gender and sustainability-linked bond issuances. On the innovation front, the company launched a new version of the G&T Trader app, which led to a 49% increase in average monthly income,” Euromoney’s statement reads.

For context, over the past eight years, Asiamoney was the awarding body for securities firms. This year, for the first time, the regional scope has expanded, and the award is now presented by Euromoney. The Euromoney Securities Houses Awards aim to highlight and recognize the industry’s leading firms.
